3 Easy Beauty Secrets!

Stop over-spending on beauty supplies and take a trip to your kitchen.
Yes I said KITCHEN!
It's been said that the best things come from the unexpected (oh, and that they're free).
Your kitchen ingredients have already been paid for; but as far as unexpected goes, milk for a pedicure, anyone?!

So you want whiter teeth, smoother skin, healthier hair, and softer feet? Get ready to become a beauty mixologist with ingredients from your kitchen.

One time I bought some "Satin Lips" from a Mary Kay party and I have no complains about the product at all...until I found out I can get the dead skin off of my lips with olive oil and sugar!

This is one of the cheapest and best lip exfoliants I've used....EVER!
All you need is some olive oil and some sugar (preferably brown but white will do.)

1. Mix 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil with a one teaspoon of sugar. It will make a paste-like texture.
2. Apply the mixture to your lips (I usually just use my CLEAN fingers as an applicator. But a tooth brush will work too.) Massage it on really well.
3. Let it set for about two minutes.
4. Remove with a wet warm cloth.
I usually put on some lip balm right after!
It helps me feel the difference.
When regular hair conditioner doesn't cut it anymore, try adding some olive oil, Mayonnaise  and eggs!

I must warn you, the eggs add a peculiar smell for a hot second but it's so worth it!
I am horrible with hair maintenance so this little concoction is my hair doctor when I become reckless.
Between the weather change, extra heat, and inconsistency, my hair sometimes becomes very dry and damaged and my DIY conditioner always leaves me feeling all hair healthy and what not!

I have a very full thick head of hair so my proportions might differ from what you may need but here's my regimen:
3/4 cup of conditioner (normally Tresseme)
2 eggs
1/4 cup of olive oil
1/4 cup of mayonnaise (NOT MIRACLE WHIP!!!!!)
Mix them all up together, very well and apply as if it were regular conditioner.
I use this mixture as a deep conditioner as opposed to regular conditioner. I just put on a plastic cap and let it sit for 30 minutes or so.
Who doesn't love clear skin?
Did you know that with just a lemon and honey you can rock healthy clear skin?!

Honey and Lemon
What a treat!
Just add some honey to the face of a lemon slice/wedge and rub it on your face.
It really helps with pimples. But all-in-all it penetrates the skin to absorb impurities from the pores.

Give it a try!
