Tuesday evening during halftime at the Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks match-up
Shaquille O'Neal's No. "34" jersey was retired.

However, eight years after playing with this team the Lakers traded O'Neal in 2004.

The Lakers won three titles with the 7-foot-1 center in four NBA Finals appearances.

Center court Shaq was along side his mother and six children as he accepted this honor and spoke.

"It's a dream come true. It's a blessing. I didn't do it by myself," O'Neal said in a press conference." I had a lot of help- great teammates, great organization, the Buss family [and] great leadership from Phil Jackson."

"CAN YOU DIG IT????' ......
Congrats to Shaq and his entire family.
